Head of scientific, technical and fundamental projects and assignments for breeding, genetics and variety study of fruit, berry, nut crops and grapes, development of theoretical basics of the selection of intensive varieties of fruit crops with a potential yield of 50 tons per hectare and above, including methods for creating genetic diversity and identifying genotypes , combining high productivity and resistance to biotic and abiotic environmental factors, with high quality fruits. Formation of collections of fruit, berry, walnut crops and grapes RUE «Institute for Fruit Growing», including more than 5.6 thousand samples-genotypes of 40 crops, stored in situ on an area of 20 hectares, declared a national heritage of the Republic of Belarus, included in the State Register of Scientific Objects No. 6. Under the guidance of the author, basic, original active and indicative collections of fruit and berry plants have been created that have no analogues in the world. For the first time, collections of peach, hazelnuts and hazel have been created. Author of 35 varieties of fruit crops (apple, pear, plum, apricot, hazelnut).
