Study the distribution of weed plants, develop systems for the rational use of herbicides in an integrated system for the protection of basic crops, study the relationship between cultural and weed plants in agrocenoses, determine thresholds and critical periods of weed damage, and compute a forecast of the contamination of crops of major crops in connection with climate warming. Assessment of the sensitivity of cultural and weed plants to herbicides and their preparative forms with the goal of creating rational technologies for the application of herbicides of a new generation.
