Delegation of Ukrainian vet service visits Belarus

 

MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – A delegation of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitory Service of Ukraine has arrived in Belarus to test dairy and meat enterprises, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus.

"A commission of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitory Service of Ukraine will work in Belarus on 22-30 March to audit the system of state control of dairy and meat products," informed the Veterinary and Food Department of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus.

Ukrainian professionals will visit a range of Belarusian dairy and meat-packing plants. Following the visit, the Ukrainian party will make a decision on lifting restrictions on import of Belarusian products to Ukraine.
