International Scientific and Practical Workshop "Modern Tendencies in Technical Regulation and Quality Management of Meat Production"

Among the participants of the workshop there will be invited to give speeches representatives of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus (Gosstandart), the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the Gorbatov’s All-Russian Meat Research Institute, connected with the main specifications of technical regulations of the Customs Union:
- Customs Union Technical Regulation on Food Safety 021/2011;
- Customs Union Technical Regulations on Food Products Labeling 022/2011;
- project «About safety of meat and meat production».

It is planned to highlight the requirements specified by the Russian Federation to supplying of meat production, as well as the main provisions of the following documents:
- GOST P 53221-2008 «Pigs for slaughter. Pork carcasses. Specifications»;
- GOST P 54315-2011 «Cattle for slaughter. Beef and veal carcasses, semi-carcasses and quarters. Specifications» and in the appropriate interstate standards;
- projects of the ГОСТ Р «Meat. High quality beef».

Research workers of the institute will highlight questions of use of a curing and nitrite mixture for meat products production in accordance with the updated technological instruction, the main position of the Belarusian Standard 971-2012 «Liver sausages. General specifications» with appropriate production documentation, new requirements in the reconsidered technical specifications to meat byproducts and raw tallow.

Besides, it is planned to highlight the questions connected with the new aspects in the format of realization of the state sanitation-and-epidemiological control, veterinary supervision on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the Agreement of the Customs Union on sanitary, veterinary-sanitary measures, development of methods for the determination of rates of normal wastage of fresh meat and ready meat products after the cold treatment.

In case of necessity of discussion of any other actual problems the participants are kindly asked to forward their proposals to the organizers of the workshop.
